This past sunday we had our second church picnic and baptism of the summer.  Our first picnic was a great success but unfortunately we were unable to baptize anyone because of thunder and lightning.  This time however the weather was great and we baptized 8 people!  Praise God for his amazing grace in calling us out of darkness and into the light of the Glory of Jesus Christ.  Stephen Proctor, one of the members took pictures at the event and has posted them on flickr, http://www.flickr.com/photos/stephenproctorphotography/sets/72157622215924332/.  I look forward to many more events like this one in the years to come at Mars Hill Church Olympia.  Thank you to everyone who helped put on the event.
